Encamped at Scarva #shortpoems

Picnic made, deck chairs packed,
Scarva bound, o’er the Aughlish hills we go.
Williamites and Jacobites massing to re-enact.
Whilst family head for the annual rendezvous,
By the oak on the avenue where the Matriarch has staked her claim.
